Client can't access folder

Client can't access folder

Hi,

I have a Plus account, mostly using it for backup.

I now want to share a folder (created within the public folder, with 40 GB video files), and senr an invite to a client. I also gave him "can edit" permission.

However, he is not able to access the folder.

Is it a problem that the client is only a basic Dropbox member? Please advise. Thanks.

Yes. In order to accept a shared folder, they need to have enough available space in their own account to hold the folder.

Thanks for the prompt reply!
Follow up question: the client has a Google Drive - is it possible to transfer directly from Dropbox to Drive?

Or do I need to - re-upload them to Google Drive?

Thanks
