Hi,
I saved a file in a shared Dropbox folder which was accessed by other folder members who also gave comments but in the online version of the same file. They got a link to the file when I shared the folder with them. I made changes to the offline version based on the comments in the online version, however, now I cannot see the comments in the online version. This has happened before and when I used to restore an older version, I used to get back the version with comments. However, this time, I am not able to get that version. Not sure what happened there and how do i get the version back that has comments.
Hi @Namrata Zaveri, thanks for posting on the Community!
Could you clarify what you mean by the 'offline' version of the file? Is the file located in your Dropbox folder on your machine?
Did you edit the file directly, or did you delete the original file and then upload this version of the file?
Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!

Yes, sorry for not clarifying. By the offline version, I mean the file saved on my desktop in the Dropbox shared folder. I edited this directly in the Dropbox folder on my desktop.
I have done this previously and when I used to make changes to the desktop file, it would automatically be reflected in the online version (i.e. the link used to open the file in the browser)

I am using the Google Chrome browser, not tried any other browser. I will check with some other browser and keep you posted
