Hello everyone,
I created a Dropbox account yesterday (the basic one) and since I had no idea what I was doing, I allowed the back up/sync of my computer files on Dropbox, so of course I ran out of space. I tried to delete the single folders but I wasn't able to do it, so I deleted the account. I got an email saying that my account was deleted and the files were deleted from dropbox but not from my computer, but now my computer desktop is empty and I can't seem to find my files anywhere. I found just the recent ones but nothing more. Could anyone please help? I'm panicking!

Good morning! Yesterday I deleted my dropbox account and I didn't know I would have lost every files on my Desktop. It is normal?

I checked if my files are in the Dropbox folder on my desktop, but when I click on it, it says that it's impossible to open the folder because they cannot find the original item of my Dropbox files (sorry if it makes little sense, I translated the message from Italian.)
I can find the files on Finder, but they are all mixed up and not divided in folders like they originally were, so I'm not sure if they are all there or not. 😞
