Deleting files from computer but NOT dropbox

I need to save space on my computer so I'd like to delete video and photo files from my computer but I want to be sure they are still saved in my dropbox. All the advice I'm finding is for the opposite problem... Can someone please tell me how I can delete files from my computer but keep them saved in my dropbox?

Hey. you can do it with selective sync.

You can find it if you click dropbox icon and then your avatar picture, then go to preferences and sync tab.

There you can select what to save on your computer.

The only thing is that you will probably have to move those files in one folder.

Selective sync is not working with seperate files.
