I had a Word for mac textfile on a folder on Dropbox which I have been working on for some weeks . Yesterday I saved it and closed it as usual. But when I should open it again it is gone. No trace of the file anywhere. Anyone having a suggestion?
Hi @Jon N
What does www.dropbox.com/events show?
Where were you working on it? If it was on a computer have you tried File -> Open?

Yes. I have tried absolutely everything. The file has just disappeared.
Was it in a Shared Folder?
Nothing at all on Events?

So, if nothing is on 'Events' then the file has never actually made it to Dropbox for whatever reason. So, something has happened locally on the machine to stop it from syncing. First question would be is it running? And if so does it have any quota available?
As it isnt on Dropbox you'll need to check the local machine for where it is or what happened 😞
