DropBox App will not connect to the internet

DropBox App will not connect to the internet

This has been a total nightmare with DropBox App today. The issue started with uploading files to the DropBox folder and watching the syncing symbol just do nothing. I would've understood if the files where large but they where under a meg. I tried backing up a step and removed the files from the DropBox folder and nothing, still trying to sync the files that where no longer in the folder. Restarted the app and once again it was trying to sync the files. Restarted the computer and you guess it, it was still trying to sync the files. I deleted and reinstalled the app, hoping this would fix the problem. Well you would be right and wrong. The syncing issue has been resolved, but now on startup the DropBox app is telling me I have no internet connection. Go figure! I'm sending this message via internet with no issues. Anyone out in chat land have any suggests it would be greatly appreciate. DropBox has been outstanding until today. My system is a iMac and I'm running OS Big Sur 11.6.3

Hi @cooper1337, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Is there is a possibility that a proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router issues could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?

I'd recommend checking each one of these to ensure that the Dropbox desktop application isn't being prevented from accessing the web.

Keep me updated with any progress!

Jay thanks for your help. The issue was in Proxies protocol to configure: I unchecked the Web Proxy (HTTP) and Secure Web Proxy (HTTPS), DropBox is now connected. I should have pick up on this because when I tried to access the Apple App Store the home page was blank, but it never message me why. Again thanks for your help.
