Dropbox account completely empty, can anybody help?

Hi,

 

I login today in my dropbox account and it is completely empty. Can somebody please help me investigate on this issue?

Hey @gabrielecacciola90, thanks for reaching out to our Community!

Like @Mark said, try checking your events page for any deletions, but if you don't see any recent events at all, make sure to also check if you have another Dropbox account.

Dropbox account is empty!

Where have all my files and photos disappeared to? My Dropbox, which is an app on my iPhone is totally empty. Please help!

Is there a chance that you opened a new Dropbox account, hence it's empty? 

What do you see when accessing your events page

Hi Megan, you are my ANGEL! That was indeed the reason - the fact that I had 2 different accounts. I had no idea, and had just assumed that Dropbox had asked me to change my email address, which for some reason I did, but then had difficulty getting into my original account. I'm afraid I'm not very tech minded, so apologies for the vague explanation. But you have solved the mystery, for which I am most grateful 🙏❤️

Can't find my files on my computer!

I can't find any of my files on my computer, just a message that says "get started with Dropbox).  I already have an account, but there is nothing here anymore.

If you open the Dropbox website from the app and navigate to www.dropbox.com/events (you may need to type it in) what does that show? Does that show any activity etc.?

It says no activity yet.  I've had this account for years, I have lots of files in it.
