Dropbox won't upload edited raw photos from iPhoto

Dropbox won't upload edited raw photos from iPhoto

Hey there,

I have an album in my apple photos app with 812 files in it. All of those files are RAW images, some unedited and others were edited just using the basic editing software that comes with my imac.

When I try to upload the photos all at once to a folder in Dropbox, it tells me there is an unknown error with several of the files (47,001 is the number they keep associating with the error message?)

But it won't upload the photos that didn't have an error and it seems like it only has a problem with the photos that were edited on my imac.

Hi @esalisbury, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Have you tried uploading the files in smaller batches?

Are you able to sync the photos to your machine first and then upload them to Dropbox from the computer?

This will help me to assist further!

So after a few more tries, I was able to upload all of the files. But I am having the same problem as another user where they all turned into jpg files once uploaded. Any ideas?

In general, RAW images shouldn't be converted to JPG when uploaded via the Dropbox mobile app.

Could you clarify exactly how you're uploading the files to confirm the process?
