Enable custom renaming of multiple files at once

This is a common action in Windows. We have thousands of files of radio shows that are named with the date of the show. A previous employee decided to insert the day of the week into all the file names - so we have "Saturday" as the beginning of the file name of all 4 segments of each of our Saturday shows, making it impossible to see the rest of the descriptive file name, including the date, when the shows are listed in their Dropbox folder. I have manually been going into each file and removing the word Saturday one by one. There should be a simple way to do this with all the files in a folder, keeping the rest of the file name intact. This is just an example of the kind of ability I propose.

Hey @TheKeel, thanks for posting on our Community!

Would naming conventions be what you're looking for?

If so, this is a feature already available to Dropbox users.

You can read more about it and how to use it here.

Let me know if you have any questions.
