File opens onto taskbar but will not expand for editing

File opens onto taskbar but will not expand for editing

When I opened Dropbox from the taskbar next to the clock today a message/ advert appeared for upgrading. I browsed the offer and decided to stay with the free version. After closing the offer, I reopened Dropbox from the task bar and selected an Excel file. It opened minimised nto the taskbar. When I try to expand it for editing, it will not do so.

I tried accessing the file from File Explorer-Dropbox-Double click File (Document). The same result. Has this just happened today with the upgrade offer? If so, will it be debugged?

Kind regards,

Robin.

Hello @Kdom1914, I hope you're having a good day so far!

From what I understand, is it the Excel app that is appearing in your taskbar but is not opening and showing on your screen to allow you to edit the file?

As a first step, can you try rebooting your computer to see if that helps?

Let me know - thanks!
