I feel like such a fool; my Mac was running short of space a few months back, and I needed to install the new OS. I deleted my Dropbox from my Mac, thinking it was only the local copy I was deleting and the backup would still be in the cloud. I found out yesterday that my Dropbox is completely empty (save some photos).

 

I think this was probably about 4 months ago. Is there any way at all I will be able to recover my old files? I would be happy to pay if necessary.

Hi @mactrouble 

Unless at the time you deleted the files you were a paid member I'm afraid its not now possible to recover - the recovery window isnt retroactive.
