Hi, so i have looked on the community for the answer and actually there is quite a few peopple have the same problems. I'm not an idiot so i don't need someone trying to tell me about file sizes as i am fully aware of this. Today after installing dropbox on my laptop as it disappeared I found that it was telling me it is too full. Yesterday I had the same problem and deleted enough to bring me under my quota which was two Bible files roughly 6GB. These were deleted among other files and duplicate photos, zip files that I already unzipped and moved only to find them today back in my file. Yesterday, when I had deleted files, i went to the bin area and started manually deleting the files and i got a pop up saying the binned files don't count towards my quota but still manually deleted more? I have tried twice now to delete these bible files and they are not moving from the account also all the other additional folders that i deleted are also still there. NOW I have got drop box on my laptop, it appears they have now been locked to administrator and cannot be deleted? So now i'm deleting the bible file, it says it deleting but then pops up again? Now sync is not that fast. There is only one folder that is synced and that is my camera uploads and it uploads to the folder camera upload. HELP ME PLEASE it's driving me mad.
So last night i was in a fight to delete files whilst they were automatically be uploaded at the same time. When I looked at the sync icon there was a red error. Opening the sync tray there was an issue at the top, clicking in the view issue brought up another box that just said personal but nothing else. There was no where to pause any syncing items not only that, some of the syncing items were actually no longer on my laptop as they had been deleted as the I had permanantly deleted these files to free up space on my hard drive. It seemed to be in this crazy loop. My only option was then to delete Dropbox. In deleting dropbox it froze so opened task manager to end task and then it appeared to delete and so far Dropbox online is back to the same quota of just over 4GB and I have 8GB. I have no idea why this was happening and cannot download Dropbox to my laptop in case this happens again.

Hi Jay, I was deleting off both my PC and laptop. If I had enabled computer back up, it would have crashed long time ago as there is 150GB in use from my laptops 237GB. The only auto back up was camera upoads and this is becasue only photos are uploaded to Dropbox at this present time. Other files between Box and GoogleDrive and 3 external 1TB hard drives. What was strange is I had no permission to delete them and, I also could not pause them?

No you've completely missed it.
When I deleted a file in Dropbox it reappeared.
When I tried to delete on my laptop I had no permission to.
When I tried to pause the uploads, there was no pause but it said there was an issue.
When i clicked on the issue the box said personal but no actuasl message
When I uninstalled Dropbox I could delete the file on my computer and on Dropbox.
