Files suddenly read-only

Files suddenly read-only

I am the only user on my DB account, which is many years old. Suddenly some of my files which I uploaded from Word are read-only, and I can't edit them. I did not change any settings.  I have tried everything, to no avail.

Please help!!!!!

Hi @Cindy90 and @Yanks714, I hope you’re both doing well.

Can you both send me a full screenshot of what you see on your end, so that I can take a look?

Give me a nudge when you’ve got more updates!

Someone stated if your iPad is over 10”, Microsoft considers you to be a business, and need a license…have no problem on my IPhone…

thanks

Hi @Yanks714, happy Monday!

Did you log into your Microsoft account before you tried to edit this file of yours on your iPad?

I'm asking because Dropbox Basic, Plus, and Professional accounts can edit for free, however you'll be asked to sign in with a Microsoft account.
