Find lost files from a shared link

Find lost files from a shared link

Is it possible to see files from 2014? The link I had emailed to me no longer works and they arent in my Dopbox account.

Hi @Pookey, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

If the files were still visible on that account, and the link wasn't deleted, then they should be visible.

Otherwise, if the files were deleted, or the link itself removed, then it wouldn't be possible to recover them, unfortunately.

If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.

I only had the link I had saved in my email, I had been opening it from there. Ive never even gone into my dropbox to delete anything but it says the link cant be found 😞

If this is a shared link sent to you, then it means that the files are stored on another Dropbox account, as the link accesses them directly.

As the link isn't working, or the files are gone, then you can try contacting the person who sent the link to you to see if they still have the files.
