HD Still Full After Unistall

HD Still Full After Unistall

New member | Level 2

Hello, So I had the Dropbox app installed and did the smartsync and everything to keep my Mac HD from filling up.  It still filled my HD and. left with 12 gb of storage, it's a 500 SSD.  I even swapped my DB path to an external HD.  I just uninstalled Dropbox and it's still showing I have 16gb.  I also made sure I did not have any large files lingering locally on my computer.  Is there a way to track down these cached files or is there a hidden folder somewhere full of files?  Please help! Thanks!

Uninstalling Dropbox just removes the program. You need to manually then delete any files etc. which are stored locally.
