Please help - I use Dropbox for Business. I was working on a Lenovo laptop, toiled away for hours on a document. Saved it under a new name. Then somehow it disappeared! After unsuccessfully trying Word's "Recover Unsaved Documents," and searching my laptop for the document (yes, including recycle bin), I went to Dropbox.com. Couldn't find the document as revised or renamed. Somehow I must've deleted it, though that makes no sense. I found the new document name in my Dropbox Deleted Items. I selected "Restore." It restored...but just shows a blank Word document with 0 bytes of data. I had promised this work product yesterday (1/12/2022), now I'm sunk. Help?
Can you restore it to a 0byte file and then do a recover previous versions?
It sounds like for whatever reason the save has not happened, possibly, due to a corruption of the file?

Hi Mark,
That's exactly what I've tried. Unfortunately, it says no previous versions exist. Grrr... I also checked my Norton backup tools, and it doesn't even seem to have a backup of recent Dropbox folders, so .... no help.
And, I will add that I was doing Ctrl + Save on the draft by a prior name, yet it also appears in its condition as if I did not spend several hours editing it yesterday! Searched for unsaved versions and previous versions, got nothing for yesterday's work. 😞
Unfortunately then it wont be recoverable via Dropbox 😞
