How can I change the DPI on my images?

How can I change the DPI on my images?

I am as bright as a one-watt bulb when it comes to instructions on how to get my photos to 300dpi. I'm one of these persons who need 1, 2, 3, explanations-is there anyone here like that?  I did get told  to open Dropbox Finder/file Explorer, rt click on folder that contains files, select naming convention, select naming convention rule to apply, click apply to save changes and rename the files in the folder. Huh?

What I did instead was use the gear at the folder, found the naming conventions to DPI. When I do that it says 100x100 dpi on top but there is no way to change that. I am lost in a deep dark forest. Please help. I need these photos to be 300dpi for a book. Thanks!

Hey @JEB53, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.

The instructions you were given have to do with the names of your files; meaning, you can set a rule, so that the files you put in a folder, are named in a specific way.

What you're trying to do is change the DPI of your photos, right?

I'm afraid that's not something that can be done with Dropbox.

I would suggest doing an internet search, so you can find which third party app or program on your computer can help with this.

Cheers!
