How can I get a folder that only appears on the site to sync with my machine?

How can I get a folder that only appears on the site to sync with my machine?

Hey there,

I just recently connected my Dropbox account with a new computer (MacBook Pro), and when they asked me if I want to synch all my folders with my computer or just some I thought it's a good moment to save some space. So I only synched 5 folders that I thought were really important with my computer, these are the only ones shown in my finder. Now I figured that there's a shared folder I would like to have back on my computer too, and I don't know how to get it back to my finder. Currenty I can only find it if I log in to Dropbox in the browser, but can't find it in the computer app or finder.

Thanks so much!

Miro

Hi @miroschnee, thanks for posting on the Community!

Is it possible that the folder contains incompatible characters which won’t be able to sync to your Mac?

Alternatively, is the folder de-selected in the selective sync preferences?

Keep me posted!
