How can I have spellchecker in Paper?

Hello,

How can I turn on spellcheck in Paper? I do not know why but the chrome / edge spell check is not working in Paper. I tried Microsoft Spellcheck and LanguageTool (browser extensions) but it is not working. I am using Polish language in my documents. In every other place spellcheck is working, even forum editor. Please help.

Currently, Dropbox Paper does not have its own spell checker. If your browser has a built-in spell checker, you can use that. You can also find more info about it, here.

I am sorry but I think you did not read my post and copy-paste answer. I know that you do not have your own spell check. But any other spell check in any browser is not working in Paper. I turn on some browser spell check extensions and still not working.

Hmm. Is your Dropbox account and the Dropbox website set to be in Polish by any chance?

If they are, I'd recommend going to our Support page to see your support options to submit a ticket to our team so that they can have a better look into this for you.

I work on a MacBook Pro with the Firefox browser.  And my Spell Check in THIS Suggestion box is working perfectly.

But in Dropbox Paper for my documents... I can not get ANYTHING to work to check spelling as I type.  And Dropbox has no built in Spell Check.  This is shocking!  As a writer... why should I use Dropbox and Paper to do anything with words?

On all my websites and forums, Firefox or any other Firefox add-on Spell Checker works perfectly.  But as soon as I touch anything in Dropbox Paper for my documents... it becomes stupid and can't see if a word is not Sppelled Righht or Noot!  Funny... I can see those words are spelled incorrectly here in this box!  My Firebox browser marks them.

Why would any professional working with words use anything connected to Dropbox?  Dropbox... fix it!

I still have to develop my documents in other word apps… and then copy and paste the text into my Dropbox Paper doc.  It’s nice to have a spell checker.  Just not in DropBox.  Odd….. my Spell checker is working perfectly here in this box.
