How to get files back on my desktop

How to get files back on my desktop

After installation and allowing dropox access to my computer it has taken all of my desktop items somewhere. They do not appear in the dropbox "desktop folder" and are not on my mac anymore. How do I recover these?

Hi @c_under, and welcome aboard our Community!

If I get this right, you enabled computer backup for your desktop files and after that, they completely disappeared, correct?

Are you able to see them perhaps when visiting your web account here
