Delete, edit, and organize
Solve issues with deleting, editing, and organizing files and folders in your Dropbox account with support from the Dropbox Community.
I use git inside dropbox... The problem is that dropbox keeps creating conflict with git files, since it wants to update the .git folder wherever dropbox sync is active...
Then, I want to stop dropbox syncing .git folders...
Selective sync deletes the local copy of the .git folder, which is not what I want.
I want to keep the local copy. And I cannot move the folder outside of dropbox scope, cause I want to have things organized in my hard drive.

Hi @mgirardis,
What about set all .git folders ignored? 🤔 Did you check it?
Good luck.
Is there a way to systematically do that?
If you mean something supported by Dropbox, no there isn't. There are many ideas, but seems Dropbox ignore all of them. If you are familiar to shell scripting you can do something working, I believe. 😉
