Delete, edit, and organize
Solve issues with deleting, editing, and organizing files and folders in your Dropbox account with support from the Dropbox Community.
Hi @misao, welcome to our Community!
You mentioned that you were able to restore some of your content, but not all of it. Did you use the deleted files page to recover your files?
Have you used the events page at all? The Events page at www.dropbox.com/events gives you an overview of all activity in your account including files events (adds/edits/deletes).
From there, you should be able to click on any deletion event, and then restore it. Can you give this one a go?
Let me know of any updates!

Thank you for your reply, Megan. As you mentioned, I firstly access to the Delete section and found some of my files and retrieve them. I accessed to the event section as your advice, but I could not find my action of deleting my Dropbox file.
Hi @misao, thanks for the speedy reply!
Is it possible that the content you're missing was shared folders? Do you see anything, when visiting your sharing tab?
Also, if you search online -using the search-bar on the top of your home page- for some file names that you're still missing, what do you see?

Thank you for your kind reply. I have already tried using search bar and could not find missing files. I have never used sharing files, and when I checked the sharing file in case, there is nothing in there.

How long ago did the deletion occur?
5 hours, I guess.
Hi @misao, when you check the events page, do you see any signs of the files?
Not necessarily the deletion event, but an event when they were added to the account, or edited?

Thank you for your reply. I checked the event again and found only actions of delete and restore which I did for some file I could regain.
Hi @misao, could I send you an email, in order for us to have a closer look into this?
