I can't delete a file I own.

I can't delete a file I own.

trying to delete a photo i uploaded, but there is no option for that anywhere when i view the file on dropbox via a browser. please see screenshot for baffling "permissions":

Hey there, @jilodo, I hope you're doing well! 

 

Just to make sure we're on the same page here, have you tried following these steps instead, in order for you to delete your content? 

 

Also, is this file added inside a shared folder, by any chance? If it is, can you follow these steps in order to double check who the owner of the folder is?

Hi! I can't even seem to be able to find where it "lives" either (ie: there is no option anywhere to see the enclosing folder or file path).

Hey @jilodo, in that case, where are you trying to delete this folder from?

 

Have you tried navigating to it through your All files page? Or search for it through the search bar there?
