Hi there, I am quite new to using dropbox. I have a Dropbox account but not a paid subscription, yet. I have been asked to upload files to a business dropbox. They have sent me a link (with edit status) however when I see the folder (11Gb) there is a message stating I do not have enough storage. Is my only option to subscribe to a paid account or is there some other admin means? thank you....

Hey @gavinc, thanks for reaching out to our Community!

Indeed, to access a shared folder from your account with edit rights, you'd need enough space to accommodate the folder.

There are some ways to add bonus space to your account, without upgrading.

If you only need to upload files to this folder though, the owner of the folder can also send you a file request.

Let me know if you have any questions!
