I 'dragged' everything to dropbox instead of 'copy paste'. Files have changed. How to undo?

I 'dragged' everything to dropbox instead of 'copy paste'. Files have changed. How to undo?

Hello, today I installed dropbox and dragged my files, music and pictures to dropbox instead of doing copy-paste. I can not play my music anymore, all my files have the icon of dropbox, everything goes automaticly to dropbox (also .pdf-file that I want to open), my logo is gone from my thunderbird because the file changed in my documents, ...

How can I undo that drag-thing without loosing everything please ?

If I erase something in dropbox - the same file erases in my documents or picture-files.

I want dropbox out of my computer and all my files back like it was.

Thank you for the support

You need to drag them back out of Dropbox to wherever you moved them from - or better still copy and paste them back.

Please note, however, this means you will have each file on your machine twice (so using up twice the space) and any updates you make to the files elsewhere will not, in any way, update or impact upon the ones you've put in Dropbox.

Thank you Mark. I could not copie them back, but it helped to copie them to my bureaudesk. I've deleted the rest also on dropbox. Now I still have to uninstall and erase some double things. but everything is safe now I think.

Thank you.
