I have some documents in PDF form uploaded to my dropbox and when I search the contents of those PDFs they aren't searchable. I have to search it by the actual document name. Is there an amount of time I have to wait before the document becomes searchable or am I doing something wrong? Some of my documents that I uploaded previously are searchable and those are also in PDF form but the most recent ones are not searchable. I also waited two hours to see if there was a wait time on them.

I have the same problem. Again, for the second time in 6 months. Support is telling me, again, that they don't know when it will be fixed. This feature was the main reason I upgraded to DropBox Business and I'm really at the point of looking for an alternative.

I'm appalled - still no solution to this problem THREE MONTHS after PDF contents search stopped working. Whenever I chase up DropBox Support all I get are messages assuring me that the problem is being worked on, but there is no ETA on a solution. This feature was the primary reason I moved from OneDrive to DropBox for Business. I'm now actively looking for an alternative solution to DropBox.
