Delete, edit, and organize

I've been using my Dropbox on my old Chromebook for awhile now.
I'd been sharing research with a colleague and everything was working perfectly.
Last week, I had to work off of my regular PC Laptop. While in Dropbox, (still running smoothly), when I finished working and began to log off, my PC started to SYNC so much stuff and I didn't catch it in time, I'd just logged out out of habit.
When going back on my Chromebook, I logged on, and got the big red banner "You're Out of Space!" and I can't even move one file from one folder to another.
So, now there's a folder with a black square that says "PC". There is NO option to delete this folder. I've opened it and deleted every single file I could within the folders inside the PC folder, but still there is no space. Also, I'm unable to delete the folders within the PC folder. All files have been deleted, empty folders, etc. Still no space, can't get rid of PC folder. I had my colleague un-share her folders and files with me so I can try to delete everything but my current research, but it simply doesn't work.
I'd be happy to screen share with someone if they can help. Right now, I"m trying to move my important research folders on to a USB drive but that's creating issues as well.
I need someone to help a Dropbox Virgin put be back on track, please! 🙂
Thank you very much for your time,
Kindest regards,
Lynda

You have the computer backup feature enabled.
Thank you. I am trying to find out where to turn that off as we speak. However, I still need to remove all of the files that came over from my laptop into my Dropbox. There's no option to delete the folders. Though, I went in individually and deleted everything I could, - quite a lot of files - my Dropbox still says "FULL".
沒有幫助,但無論如何謝謝。
