Is it possible to have a folder outside of the Dropbox folder sync?

Hello Dropbox!,

Your services are great, thank you!

We encounter a difficulty on how to add a custom folder location.

We use an old software which did not allow as to "Save as" the file in a custom location, but only in its folder (C:/ROOFDATA)

We want to share all files from this folder to all users using dropbox, but we don't want to copy every time from the "ROOFDATA" folder the file that we worked on in the dropbox folder; and if another user enters and modifies something, to copy again from dropbox to roofdata and back...

It is possible to have this folder which is located in C:/ROOFDATA shared with all team and if someone modify a file from this folder all other user to have the new update file ?

Currently, it’s only possible to sync files that are directly located inside the Dropbox folder. It wouldn’t be possible to have a folder outside to sync with the site.

However, there may be some other apps or services that can assist in syncing those folders to Dropbox.
