Lost files when my laptop died before syncing files

Lost files when my laptop died before syncing files

Dear community and Dropbox team,

I lost my laptop about 1 week ago, and my dropbox files and folders did not sync before the harddrive became unaccesible. I have tried to locate the files, but I can only find a version from the 10th of june in the version history when I log in (although I have worked on the documents after the 10th of June).

Is there any way to recover versions which I have stored in dropbox after the 10th of June but not synced to the online directory? I have a basic (free) version.

Sincerely,

No. If the files didn't sync, then they were never in your Dropbox account to be restored. They would only exist locally on your laptop.
