Old Files sent to me

Old Files sent to me

I had some files of pictures that were sent to me from 2014.
I’m unsure if I had them backed up anywhere, and now when I click on the links for each file that were sent to me. It tells me “That didn’t work for some reason”
Is there a way to recover these files?

Hey @Cgun034, sorry to hear about this.

Since the shared links to those files are giving you an error now, they may have been disabled or deleted by their owner and you won't be able to restore them from your end.

Have you tried reaching out to the person that originally shared these links with you to check if the files their links point to are still in their Dropbox account and have not been deleted?

Keep us posted!
