Problem with syncing

Problem with syncing

riiso

My whole Mac is now syncing to drobox (desktop, deleted files - everything) Nothing is saved to my local drives.

Folder is named My Mac (MBP.localdomain)

How can I change this? I don´t want to sync this computer to dropbox at all.

Thank you!

Hello @riiso, I think you have unintentionally enabled the Dropbox backup feature. In order to disable, first make backup copies of the folders that is backed up by Dropbox (e.g., Desktop, Downloads, Documents etc.). Then open the Dropbox settings: click the Dropbox icon on the menubar → click the profile icon → select Preferences. Go to the Backup tab, there you can select which folder to backup or entirely disable. Once you uncheck the folders, Dropbox might delete them form your local drive, so make backup of those folders beforehand.
