Hi,
For a few reasons, I use the photo import from my iPhone 6S with Dropbox. After importing the photos and videos, I move them to a special folder on my hard drive that is not linked to Dropbox. Since my holiday, where I transferred a lot of photos and videos, this function no longer works.
Dropbox tells me that it can't transfer data because there isn't enough storage space. But now I only have a handful of files in my Dropbox and the settings of my account show that I have over 4GB available and only 26MB are used. I have already deleted all the data in the recycle bin, with no success.
I also deleted the photos and videos on my iPhone, so only a few new photos should be imported next time.
Is there a maximum quota of data you are allowed to transfer per month? Is there any way to reset Dropbox? Thanks for suggestions and help... Torben.

Hey @Torben Johannson, let's see what we can find on this one!
As a first step, can you check and make sure your hard drive has enough free space?
Also, I appreciate the screenshots, but they're not in English, so it's not clear to me what the message says.
Let me know more!

Hi @Lori,
thanks for reply!
The last and important message says:
No more free Dropbox storage space | If you import these photos, they would take up all the Dropbox storage. Import...
Thats, as I said, a bit strange because as you can see in the second screenshot, there is a plenty free space in my dropbox-account. My local harddrive has a free space of 27,61GB. That should be enough for some MB of foto data 😉
I switched to english the make this screenshots, but now there is a problem, that my iPhone says, that the "device is not supported" ... strange.
Here is the new message with switched language, but there are definitly NOT 1700 images on my phone!
Now I deleted ALL photos on my iPhone except for 4.
I would say: impossible...

Thanks again for reply and your support.
As I said, I deleted ALL of my photos and videos on my iPhone ecxept for FOUR images, 1,6MB each. The message is wrong, I have enough free space but Dropbox don't let me import my files to my local harddrive.
I'm frustrated.

Many thanks Lori for your patience... my weekend was great. Except for this problem... 😉
My mobile app is up and running but there is no connection no the server. Maybe it has to do with the worldwide server issues today, maybe not. I will check that later again.
The app also tells me that I have used 0.8% of my storage space. A case for Dr. Strange ... 😄
Best regards...
