Recording Gets Stuck & Then Skips Ahead

Hi! One of my teachers recorded two phone converstions and sent them to me via Dropbox. When I listen to the recordings, they will skip. For example, it will get stuck at 19:18 and then resume at 20:23 so I miss part of what she's said. This happens when I listen on my laptop (Mac) or iphone and it's throughout the entire recording. Is there anything I can do about this? Thank you.

Hi @Kali555; welcome to our Community!

 

I'll be happy to look into this for you. I'll just some additional information first:

 

1. Are you previewing those files on our website or are you downloading them first and then using your devices' software to open them?

 

2. How were those files shared with you? Is it through a shared link or via a shared folder perhaps? 

 

Note that if you're using a web browser to preview those files, I'd suggest clearing your browser's cache or trying another one as well as it might do the trick for you.
