Remove my macintosh HD (MacBook-Air.local) from dropbox

Hi community,

 

Somehow my mac local drive (My Mac <MacBook-Air.local>) is on Dropbox and I want to remove it. I actually want to remove Dropbox all together but I can't do while my drive is on there.

I tried to delete Dropbox previously but it took everything in my Documents folder with it. 

I'm seriously puzzled by the situation.

 

Can someone please help?

You have the computer backup feature enabled.
