Retrieving lost files after transferring them all...

Retrieving lost files after transferring them all...

I've been using Dropbox for many years now, and I was paying once a year for the PLUS package for extra storage.  I kept my whole life on Dropbox... But, recently Dropbox had made some changes to the UI which made it very clunky and difficult for me to use Dropbox on the computer. I found myself wasting a lot of time trying to hand click each of my thousands of photos to transfer them and the stupid sidebar kept popping out and I couldn't see the file info.  It was so annoying.
So, I decided to switch over to Google Drive instead.  When it came time to make my yearly payment to Dropbox for my PLUS membership, I let my billing info expire and didn't update it.  Over the next few months, I spent HOURS every day, painstakingly transferring by hand file by file by file from Dropbox to Google Drive... hundreds of thousands of files.
After weeks and MONTHS of time wasted... I'm left with a jumbled mess in my Google Drive with some files being duplicated 2, 3, 4, 5 times!!!! And other files completely disappearing....

Long story short,  I want to UNDO EVERYTHING *cry*  I hate Google Drive, and I want to go back to Dropbox.   How do I unwind/reverse everything that I've been doing the past 4 months???  Are my files retrievable??  Are they gone forever?? Can I at least transfer them from Google Drive back to Dropbox in a way that won't take hundreds of hours of me hand transferring everything? 😞  I just want to go back to Dropbox... But, I'm afraid that it's too late...
What can I do? 😞
Thank you in advance!

Hi @Gunma - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!

I'm afraid there's no automatic way to do this at this point. You'll need to manually transfer your files from Google Drive back to your Dropbox account.

If you're looking to restore files that were deleted from your account, you can take a look at your deleted files page and/or the events page too.

I hope this helps to some extent and please let me know if you have any questions.
