Shared files - if you give the link for the main file can recipients also access folders within?

Not a business or professional user.  I want to organise my files by creating folders with folders.  If I give access for the 'main' folder, will recipients of that link be able to access the folders within this folder if that makes sense?  Or will I need to create a link for each folder?  Thank you

If you share a link to a folder, then the recipient will be able to see the entire content of that folder. This would indeed include the subfolders within the main folder.
