Hello, I think someone have entered my account and have deleted more than 70,000 files. I don't know what to do, I don't know if I had so many files or what happens, because I don't usually enter my account much. I only received a message that those files had been deleted. I have tried to restore the files but my computer is crashing. Is it possible that someone put a virus through some file in your dropbox account or something? What should I do? Please I need help 😞

Hello s12

Sorry you have this issue.   Are your files inside a removable HD? or on a removable device?  if so, if you unplugged it, Dropbox thinks someone deleted the files.  If you search the Sync history, what does it say?  You can click on your Dropbox icon in your system tray or Menu bar and click on Sync History. If it shows files being deleted, can you investigate what possibly has happened?

If you go to your web interface (Browser) at www.dropbox.com, and click on deleted files, there is a date input field where you can go back in time to view the history

if this works and it was a solution, please click on Accept as Solution.  Also clicking on Likes would be super.  Thanks!
