Strange files behavior in Dropbox

Strange files behavior in Dropbox

A few days ago I started experiencing a strange behavior of files and folders in Dropbox (OSX Mojave 10.14.6 on iMac 27" late 2012 24Gb RAM 500Gb SSD): None of the folders created inside the Dropbox folder within finder show.

If a folder is dragged from any other location into the Dropbox folder, and then double click Dropbox folders in the desktop, it shows only partial contents (files and or folders) randomly. This happens regading files or folders are moved to Dropbox main directory or to any folder within.

If a Finder window is opened and Dropbox folder is selected from the Favorites section, it shows complete contents.

Accesing Dropbox from iOS app in any Device (iPhone, iPad or iPod) does not show the new files either.

Accesing Dropbox on a browser shows everything.

Hope somebody can help me.

Thank you!

Hi @mcampa; welcome to our Community and happy Friday!

It sounds like the desktop app on your computer is acting up a tad; could you send me a screenshot of its status as shown within your menu bar so I can have a better look into this?

While we're at it, have you rebooted your computer lately and/or tried re-installing our desktop app?

Let me know what you find!
