There is no option to stop camera uploads from installing to dropbox from a laptop, after allowing the dropbox to install initially,, The fix for this only lets me choose TO USE DROPBOX  photos and videos or for photos nothing at all if you  want to remove dropbox from hijacking all your photos, Ps : I need a dropbox account for large concverions so I can delete my account,

Can someone help please?  THere is no fix for someone using a windows laptop who doesnt want camera uploads going to dropbox

this is what it says :

Desktop: Turn camera uploads on or off

When you plug a camera (or mobile device) into a computer with the Dropbox desktop app installed, you’ll see a prompt asking if you’d like to enable camera uploads for that device. Once you accept, that device will automatically upload your camera roll each time the device is plugged in to that computer.

You can also turn camera uploads on or off with the following steps:

  1. Open your Dropbox desktop app preferences.
  2. Under Backups check the box next to Enable camera uploads for.
  3. Choose Photos only or Photos and videos from the dropdown.

On Windows? On the Backup tab, click the link that says Change Autoplay Settings. You'll see the options for importing to Dropbox.
