Unable to Allow Dropbox in Preferences

Unable to Allow Dropbox in Preferences

OS: Mac OSX High Sierra (10.13.4)

I just now upgraded from Dropbox Plus to Dropbox Professional.

Then I clicked "Enable Smart Sync."

Then I clicked "Open Preferences."

Then in Preferences pane, I clicked "Allow" (to the right of "System software from developer 'Dropbox, Inc.' was blocked from loading.")

Then nothing happens.

So Smart Sync will not activate.

How do I fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Hey there @jimdolphinrecht - thanks for using Smart Sync!

Can you please let me know if you have rebooted your computer after upgrading to our Professional plan at all? If this does not get you started, I would also try unlinking and re-linking the computer anew.

Last but not least, please take a look at this thread where some users have reported inability to activate Smart Sync. You can also find this in our "Know Issues" section.

Let me know what you find and we'll take it from there Jim. Thank you!
