What happens to dropbox files after encrypted by .leex ransomware? Is it safe to reinstall it back?

What happens to dropbox files after encrypted by .leex ransomware? Is it safe to reinstall it back?

Recently my laptop got affected by .leex ransomware. At the time, the files in the Dropbox were also affected. I reboot the laptop with fresh OS. Now, can I reinstall the Dropbox and login to my account? What is the status of my files that are in the Dropbox now? Whether they effect my local files or laptop again with ransomware if I log-in to my account back? I need my files not the ransomware. Could anyone help me with this situation?

Have a look at https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/security/ransomware-recovery

As long as the ransomware was within 30 days you are fine 🙂
