What happens to the files when I delete my account

What happens to the files when I delete my account

Hello, Dropbox community! Hope you are having a great day/night. I was curious about how Dropbox handles your files when you manually delete your account. Although I have looked at the retention policy about your data and information initiating deletion after 30 days. Does this mean that your files are still on the server and still accessible? Although doing some searching around some have suggested that your files are deleted immediately when you close your account, is this true? I am confused about how this works, can someone shed some light on this for me?

Thanks a lot guys!

From here: https://help.dropbox.com/accounts-billing/create-delete/delete-account

If you delete your account, we will initiate deletion of the Dropbox files you store on Dropbox after 30 days.

When you delete your account, your files are marked for deletion from the Dropbox servers. As soon as you delete the account, those files are no longer accessible to you and cannot be recovered.

Hey Rich! Thanks for the speedy reply. I don't know if this next question is redundant or if it makes any sense. As it is no longer accessible to me, would it be accessible to anyone else? I left behind some pretty sensitive data that I wouldn't want to be shared, haha. Anyways thanks for helping out again, Rich!
