Delete, edit, and organize
Solve issues with deleting, editing, and organizing files and folders in your Dropbox account with support from the Dropbox Community.
Hello, I used to be able to save multiple picture files within the same folder (I would save a file under using the artists name, for example) and then drop box would automatically add 1 or 2 etc after it, depending on how many files it existed with the exact same name. That saved me gobs and gobs of time, especially while on mobile, it was so convenient and I really loved it. They changed it somewhat recently and it’s made it extremely tiresome to have to rename everything or number it myself (especial on the mobile app). I know I’m kind of splitting hairs with this, but please help me or tell the people coding they’re forcing some old lady to weep and to change it back. Or can you tell me how I can, I don’t know, think of a naming convention or some thing to use instead? I’m just saying things I have no idea what that would even entail please help
Hey @All Clouds Are Bunnys, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you walk me through the exact steps you take to do this and send me a screenshot of how the files are named now?
As for the naming conventions you can use at this time, you can have a look here.
Keep me posted!
