Hi @Janek33, thanks for messaging the Community.

Are you referring to the deleted files on the events page or this page on the site?

This will help me to assist further!

I don't know because I can't verify thousand of files, because some files was deleted intentionally by me.

If i check https://www.dropbox.com/deleted_files and use filter section, select folder from were deleted folders, select date and nothing.

I am not able to sit all day and verify events page what has been deleted.

If you're not seeing the missing files on the deleted files page, then there's a few possibilities as to why this might be the case:

  • They were on a shared folder you don't have access to any more
  • The files were deleted outside of the recovery period for your account
  • The files were permanently deleted

Is it possible that any of the above were true?

No, I have access to all folders and files.

  • The files were deleted outside of the recovery period for your account

Can you explain it or provide link to documentation?

  • The files were permanently deleted

So... why I saw this deleted files and folder, if use "Show delete folders/files" options?

This is a problem. If i use "Show delete folders/files" i see deleted files nad folders. Unfortunately, I don't know that they have been removed.

I hope that you understand me. I can restore deleted folders, but I don't know why and when it happened.

The recovery period for plans vary, and this article can help determine how long deleted files will remain in order to be recovered later.

If the files were deleted from your account you can check the version history of one of the files (using steps in the above article) to determine which device and user deleted them.

I have Advanced plan and if I recovered file or folder and select “” (ellipsis), hover over Activity and have nothing.

The inside folder i have history but in Deleted files I can't load results. I have only a bin image.

Someone help me?

Hey @Janek33, sorry to jump in here, but could you try restoring a sample file from the deleted ones and check its version history?

It should give you a hint or two on where/by whom the deletion is happening.

Let us know of any updates!

Walter, thank you for your replies.

For now, have few problems.

How to check version history for folders?

Why my "Deleted files" sections many times was empty or showing few results? This tool is useless or works incorrectly.

Why i don't have Revind options for folders?

Need more support?
