Hi,

I have problem with deleted files and folders. Why folders and files are deleted without any logs information?

logged into my account, I noticed the folders are in the trash. I checked all the logs and there is no information about it. Why?

Version history doesn't exist for folders, only the files themselves, since those are the items that change in the system.

If the deleted files page appears empty, then you could try using a different browser to see if this helps.

Hi Jay,

I try different browsers and Privacy option, but still have problem.

What about Revind option?

Hey @Janek33, have you tried to follow these steps here, to rewind a folder?

Hi Hanah,

Rewind your folders:

  • To rewind your entire Dropbox account, click "..." (ellipsis) next to Organize, then click Rewind this folder.
  • To rewind a specific folder, hover over the name of the folder and click "..." (ellipsis), then click Rewind this folder. This will also rewind all folders within that specific folder.

- Entire Dropbox: I don't have "Organize" and "Revind this folder". When I click "..." (ellipsis) next to "Organize" I have "Show deletes files" and "Request files".

- Specific folder: I don't have "Revind this folder". When I click "..." (ellipsis). I have many options like "Delete", "Rename", "Move" etc but no "Revind this folder".

After clicking on the "..." (ellipsis) button on the folder, can you first click on "Activity" and then see if you can find the "rewind this folder" option?

Hi from me as well, @Janek33

You mentioned previously that you’re on a Business Advanced plan. Are you an admin there, or a team member? By default, only admins on Dropbox team accounts can use Dropbox Rewind.

However, your team admin could change that setting via their Admin Console > Settings, so that you can use this feature, as well.
