deleted files

I deleted files using my old computer because of too little storage space. I didn't do anything biut deleting the files.

After installing Dropbox on my new computer, I see ol these folders coming back, not added because of too little storage space.

How can I get these folders out of Dropbox and have, because of not adding them, enough storage.

Some of the folders I could delete via ..., but for the rest I only get the message "need more storage space".

Hey there @Aclo - welcome to our Community and thanks for using Dropbox!

Just to make sure we're on the same page, could you send me a screenshot of how this looks like on your end?

Is it possible that you somehow enabled the computer backup feature and this pushed your account over its allocated quota?

Also, what's the app's exact status as shown in your system tray/menu bar?

This info  will help me assist further!

Hi Walter,

Thnx for your reaction. I indeed accidentally activated the backup function. Turned it off now and the low space notification is gone.
Thnx again for opening my eyes...
