deleting pic from dropbox

am trying to delete some photos that somehow automatically showed up in dropbox.  The pics are on my computer in google cloud.  but when i go to delete, it says it will delete from everywhere, so oam scared to hit it.  how do i take them out of/of dropbox, without losing on my computer?

Create a folder on your computer and drag the photos down from your dropbox folder. Make sure they're on your computer's hard drive (ie. on the desktop, documents, or pictures folder) - so no green dropbox check next to it. Then delete it from your dropbox folder. If it pops up delete it everywhere it's okay because it's stored on your personal computer off the internet. You also have 30 days to recover dropbox files online.
