files in dropbox old, can I acces (recover) these

files in dropbox old, can I acces (recover) these

I lost an important number of files . Nowhere to finf, or to recover. Till by accident I noticed that on my mac there resides a dorpbox (old) folder. However, I tried to login in dropbox again but now way to access that folder. To be honest, I did not remember with what email adres I logged in, I had "no username" and a password stored in keychain( I work on a mac).

So here I am, not knowing how to proceed...

Without knowing the email you wont be able to log in, but, are the files not showing up on the computer if there is a Dropbox folder there?

I see the maps and the images (gereric icons that is)  that are in the maps, but they are zero bytes. My gues is that is because these are online only ?

Hi @jeeweepix1, thanks for joining the Community!

If the files are zero bytes, then it's possible they were online-only files using Smart Sync.

If this was the case, and you had a paid plan, you should be able to locate the account email using the card lookup tool using the transaction ID from the last payment.

If you need any further assistance, please let me know!
