Currently Dropbox syncs with my documents folder on my PC.  How do i delete the folder in Dropbox without losing the folder on my PC

i was able to delete the folder, however is comes back. dropbox continues to upload. i have gone to prefences, to to sync turn off sync to my docs (the folder that keeps comingback). shut it down, 5 mins later is is uploading and when i go back to prefences, the boxs i unchecked are checked again. this thing has a mid of its own

Hi @Mark622,

What you mean "able to delete the folder"?! Did you turn the "Backup" feature off? 🧐 If you did, as I directed in the link, the folder should have got gone without any additional actions. 🤷 Take a look more carefully!

i did check, backup was never turned on

Which mean "Backup" is on and that's why Dropbox syncs your Documents folder, if you haven't done it by hand.
