Hi, I deleted the dropbox folder from my computer and didn't know it also deletes my online version of dropbox. Now all my files are deleted and I am not able to recover them. What can I do?

Hi @such, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Just for clarification, is the deleted files page on the site showing as empty?

What about the events page itself?

This will help me to assist further!

Hi @such! Sorry for jumping in.

Can you please clarify how many days ago you deleted your Dropbox folder approximately?

Hi

I'm trying to restore a file/folder that was deleted 12 Oct 22.  When I click on restore I get an error message 'Can't restore. You can only restore items in the team space'. I am Team Admin. Can someone please help.

Thanks.

Wendy

Hi @Debbie P.1, thanks for posting to our Community!

Are you trying to restore the content using your deleted files page, or events page, by any chance?

Also, where was this content previously located?

Keep in mind that, if you're having trouble locating, and restoring the folder I'd suggest you reach out to our Support team, if you wish. They should be able to gather account-specific info, and see what they can do to help you restore the content.

Keep me updated!
